Scientists with limited oversight could synthesize mirror life

In 2024 scientist came to the conclusion that it would be quite possible to synthesize cells, which they call mirror life. These cells they say would destroy us. Three scientists working on this project stopped but nothing is in place to ensure no one does create it.
