Life’s Trajectory

At 5, I was farsighted, blurry eyed, with a lazy eye.

At 7, I could not read.

At 9, I could not pay attention.

At 10, one instruction was more than I could handle.

At 11, I was loved.  Thanks so much Patty Clevenger. First came spelling then came math.  At 12, Dr. Condry would paddle me in front of the class. I was trouble/d.

At 13, Marc and I found pot.

At 15, I lived at Fork Union Military Academy. I could spell, do math, write, and read. What a relief.

At 17, potting got the better of me. I was hospitalized.

At 28, I stopped being an addict.

At 40, I became a licensed psychologist.

At 54, I oversee building small homes in NC while living in NYC.
